We envision a Minnesota tech economy that is diverse and inclusive.

Our mission is to increase the visibility and participation of African Americans in tech through community, media, mentorship, and stewardship.

We create avenues for individuals of color to enter and thrive in the field of technology.

Our network is expansive.

Our community is inclusive.

Our work is impactful.

How We Meet Our Mission

When the tech sector reflects the diversity of Minnesota, tech will play an integral role in closing gaps and inequities that exist in this state. We work in partnership with a diverse set of partners to create an inclusive innovation economy.

Foster economic development in technology through people and workforce development - classes, workshops and events to prepare youth and adults for high-demand jobs.

Create avenues for African Americans in technology to network, exchange ideas, learn, innovate, open source, and share their experiences with each other.

Find, engage, and support amazing startups led by African Americans.
